ACPA NYS Chapter Annual Concrete Paving Conference
Join us for a day and a half of presentations, discussion, and networking focused on concrete pavement technologies. Dr. Dan King of the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center will present on pavement preservation strategies, and ACPA National’s Sarah Dalton will share guidance on concrete pavement mix design and developing a preconstruction meeting checklist. Consultant John Romaine will provide decades of contractor knowledge and will discuss some of the more innovative concrete pavements he has constructed, and will go through the steps needed to create a maturity curve to estimate opening times to traffic. Additional technical sessions will be announced soon, with attendees eligible to earn up to 6 PDHs.
After the first day’s sessions, relax and connect with colleagues at Druthers Brewery, located just a short walk from the venue. On the morning of February 4, we invite you to participate in the Agency/Industry Roundtable, where your input will help shape the 2026 concrete pavement education plan. Bring your ideas for future conference topics, as well as technical questions for both industry and agency to explore.
