Benefits
The IGGA represents its members through a broad range of activities, including:
- Promotion of pavement maintenance and repair strategies to local agencies, including state Department of Transportation (DOT) officials, consulting engineers, municipal and county government officials, academia, and airport owners
- Development of guidelines and specifications for concrete pavement restoration methodologies, working with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), American Association of State Transportation and Highway Officials (AASHTO), and other agencies and organizations
- Regular board meetings to keep members involved and informed of the latest developments of international, national, and local significance, including design standards, quality issues, and market trends
Association dues are used to promote industry growth through:
- National and local seminars and workshops
- Promotional and technical publications
- Networking and personal contact with industry representatives and public officials
- Communications with specifiers and policy makers
- Legislative and regulatory lobbying and reporting
IGGA offers a range of products and services to members, including:
- Technical bulletins, engineering publications, and special reports
- Promotional literature, slides, and pre-materials
- Diamond blade usage reports
- Legislative and regulatory reports
- Promotion and publicity of projects on a local, state, national, and international level
